🚛 Circle J Transport’s 3 Million Mile Journey and the Legacy of Doug Jackson:
Circle J Transport has reached an incredible milestone. Their Cat powered Kenworth has surpassed 3 million miles and earned recognition in the Cat Million Miler Program. 🎉
This achievement represents the legacy of Doug Jackson, who made driver wellbeing and family time the foundation of Circle J Transport. His fourteen years of Army service, from November 1985 through September 1999, shaped the disciplined, hands-on approach he carried into trucking. Throughout his military career, Sgt. Jackson learned, refined, and certified the driving and mechanical skills that later helped him build Circle J from the ground up.
His wife, Cheryl, shared, “He always wanted to make sure his drivers and their families were taken care of”. Doug made sure his drivers were home for family events, kids’ sports, and weekends. He worked closely with the Palmer Trucks team to keep his fleet in pristine condition, ensuring every truck passed inspections with flying colors. “He also loved to see his trucks ‘standing tall’! Chrome! There wasn’t enough chrome ever for Doug Jackson!”
Doug passed away in late 2024, but his legacy lives on through Cheryl, who has stepped up to honor everything he built. As Circle J approaches their 25th anniversary next July, we’re proud to support Cheryl and celebrate a legacy built on, care, commitment, and putting people first.
